These are the artworks exhibited at ART HOUSE from October 19 to 30, 2017.
The title is "Annual calendar of the little red riding hood & her friends".
Her dream is to live in peace with her dear friends.
I used a lot of Japanese antique red clothes which were given by my acquaintance.
イラストレーター１０周年目を記念して、大阪アートハウスで個展を開催しました。１０年前生まれた赤ずきん へのオマージュとして、今回、赤ずきんちゃんと仲間たちの一年間をアップリケで綴りました。 土台の布は、１９３０年代の手織りのベルギーリネン。当時、手織りのリネンの反物を嫁入り道具として持参したそ うです。赤やピンクの木綿は、知り合いのご実家の蔵から出てきた物を頂きました。使い込まれて色あせた赤が、作品に奥行きを与えています。
今回、ミシンは一切使わず、すべて手刺繍、アップリケで仕上げています。
